All about Puri Blue Flag Golden Beach and my review/experience
- This is fascinating to be here. The totally neat and clean, limited crowd, sitting benches, a sit-out umbrella with recliner, the wind, the sound of waves, the combination of all of these is wonderful. This is called Golden Beach because of the golden sand here.
- This is very clean and you won't find the litter anywhere. Cleanliness is maintained all the time and you feel amazing.
- This is under surveillance with CCTV cameras. Also, the lifeguard/watchtower was installed there at two locations.
- I enjoyed bathing at Blue Flag Golden Beach with my family and it was a great experience.
- There are separate showers and changing rooms for gents and ladies where you can take a shower and change your clothes after bathing in seawater.
- Greenery is maintained with several plants around and also there is a kids' play area along with fitness equipment. If you don't want to enter the sand area then you can spend your time here otherwise you can take a walk along the jogging track.
- This place is perfect for clicking pictures and shooting. You get so many amazing views for pictures.
- There are no shops at Blue Flag Golden Beach. If you are looking for some snacks, or seafood items or you want to explore the beach market then you can cross the barricade and enter the common Golden Beach. There you will find yourself in a huge crowd. Several food stalls, camel rides, vendors selling toys, etc are found there.
